This policy (Policy) defines the legal bases on the basis of which the Law Office manages the Personal Data recorded about you or provided by you. Please read the Policy carefully in order to be aware of the Law Office’s data management practices regarding your Personal Data.

2.1       When you visit the Website or fill out the consultation form (Form) on the Website, the Law Office may request information from you, including your name and contact details (mobile phone number, e-mail address, telephone number). This information is referred to collectively as “Personal Data” in this Policy.

2.2       The transfer of Personal Data to the Law Office is voluntary, data management is based on consent (Article 5(1)(a) of Act CXII of 2011 on the right to self-determination of information and freedom of information). At the same time, if you do not provide certain information to the Law Office, it is conceivable that the Law Office will not be able to achieve the goals set out in this Policy and provide services.

3.         MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED BY THE LAW OFFICE

3.1       The Law Office may use your Personal Data for the following purposes: (1) the Law Office checks the Form you have filled out; (2) the Law Firm contacts you directly by e-mail, telephone or post in connection with news, information and events related to its activities, including sending you offers, promotional materials and other information specifically addressed to you; (3) the Law Office to check the use, attendance and operation of the Website; (4) the Law Office corrects and resolves problems related to the operation of the Website, the Law Office’s business operations and services; (5) the Law Office maintains the security and integrity of the Website and the Law Office’s business operations.

The Data Controller will keep the Personal Data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes specified in this Poicy, or until you have withdrawn your consent to the processing of your Personal Data.

5.         TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

5.1       The Personal Data within the Data Controller’s organization can only be accessed by those who specifically need it in order to achieve the goals set out in this information, including the IT, Compliance, Finance, Accounting and Internal Audit functions.

5.2       The Data Manager will not sell, sell, make available or use the Personal Data you provide to third parties in any form, unless you expressly consent to this in advance.

5.3       The Data Controller may share Personal Data with the following persons:

6.         USE OF COOKIES

6.1       Like other websites, the Data Controller uses the usual technology called cookies, as well as web server log files, in order to obtain information about how users use the Website. The use of cookies and web server log files enables the Data Controller to check the website’s visits and adapt the website’s content to your personal needs.

6.2       A cookie is a small information package (file) that often carries a unique identifier. When you visit a website, the website asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your computer’s hard drive specifically designated for storing cookies. Each website you visit can send a cookie to your computer if your browser settings allow it. 7.         SECURITY

7.1       The Data Controller applies security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your Personal Data and to prevent illegal data processing, data destruction or damage. The Data Controller applies, among other things, the following security measures:

7.1.1     Physical: Visitors may only enter the premises of the Data Controller accompanied. In addition, the Data Controller has taken appropriate measures in order to protect Personal Data from the risk of destruction or damage, e.g. data backups are stored in an alternative location, from which they can be retrieved in the event of a failure of the primary system.

7.1.2     Personal: the entire staff participates in introductory training, which also includes data protection. All staff sign a nondisclosure agreement prior to beginning employment.

7.1.3     Documentation: all tasks are performed based on documented instructions. The documentation does not leave the headquarters of the Data Controller. The printers are located in a room with restricted access.

7.1.4     Technical: the Data Controller securely handles all electronic data carriers that the Data Controller no longer uses, e.g. faulty hard drives or data backups. All changes made to the databases are recorded in an event log, which shows the day and time of the change and the user who made the change.

7.2       The Website also contains links that may direct you to websites that are not operated by the Data Controller or in accordance with the Data Controller’s data protection practices. Please note that these websites are not covered by this privacy policy. We recommend that you review the privacy notices applicable to such sites before releasing any of your personal information. The Data Controller is not responsible for the damage caused by the illegal data management of the operators of these websites or the violation of data security requirements, or for the violation of privacy rights.

8.         DATA ACCESS, REMEDIES

8.1       Based on the applicable legislation, you are entitled to: (i) request access to your Personal Data; (ii) request correction of your Personal Data; (iii) request deletion of your Personal Data; (iv) request the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data; (v) use data portability with regard to your Personal Data; and (vi) object to the processing of your Personal Data. In relation to the above rights, please note that in some cases the fulfillment of the given request is not possible or is only possible to a limited extent due to the nature of the data, and that the above rights are not unlimited and their exercise may be subject to the conditions of the applicable data protection rules.
